COVID – 19 STATEMENT
We are continuing to closely monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. As directed by the Lagos State Government, all schools are hereby closed for the foreseeable future. We kindly ask that our Gleaming Stars Parents abide and establish public health protocols around their loved ones during this period. Let's remember to reduce the risk of infection by washing our hands; avoiding touching our eyes, nose and mouth; and avoiding close contact with people who are ill.
The art and craft theme for the last session was culture and home decoration. pupils of gleaming stars school made Adire, wall arts, side stools, woven baskets as well as decorative lamps and bowls.
they later showcased all these in the art exhibition that took place at the end of the term, the highest points for them was, seeing people admire and pay for their creations.
they sure did a great job at marketing and closing deals.
FAMILY FUN DAY
At the end of session family fun day activities, parents and pupils radiantly dressed in the GSS branded T-shirts, ready for relaxation, fun and connection.
From dance to drama, poems and reading, to games, raffle draw and good food; the GSS family was refreshed; what a way to end a whole session of smart work and committed parenting.
Throughout the session, children built water fountains, table fans, lamps and a battery-operated helicopter.
At the yearly science fair, the pupils displayed their products for all to see.
They proudly discussed the production processes with their prospective buyers building a happy buyer and seller relationship.
